The Higher Education Minister, Suryabanshi Suraj and Government of Odisha has launched this impactful scholarship programme known as Odisha Videsh Siksha Bruti Scheme on 26th November, 2026 aiming to provide financial help as scholarship to all the deserving meritorious students belonging from Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities so that they’ll be able to pursue postgraduate and PhD studies at top 200 QS-ranked foreign universities. The main goal of this scheme is to overcome financial troubles and help the students to study abroad. Under this scheme 50 students will be selected annually for the scholarship benefits.
