About Bihar Jeevika Samuh
The Bihar Jeevika Samuh was launched by the Government of Bihar state in 2006 with the financial assistance he;p provided by the World Bank. It was implemented by the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), known as Jeevika. The main objective of this Bihar Jeevika Samuh is to empower and support the rural poor in Bihar state especially women.
