What is Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana

The Chief Minister of Bihar State, Nitish Kumar, along with the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, has launched this impactful female empowerment initiative known as Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana on 26th September 2026. According to this scheme, the Government will provide financial support and aid to all the eligible females who come from Self Help Groups (SHGs) & Jeevika Group in their area. Till now, about 1.21 Crores of females have benefited from this scheme. The Government has aimed to provide a financial grant of INR 10,000 to about 75 lakh females across the state. As per the reports stated by the Government, the Authorities have allocated a financial budget of INR 7,500 Crores for the implementation of this scheme.

Objective of Bihar Mahila Rojgar Yojana Payment Status

The main objective of the Bihar Mahila Rojgar Yojana Payment Status Check is to provide an opportunity to check the payment status online. All applicants can check their payment status by visiting an official portal and do not need to visit anywhere, and avail the benefits of this program from the comfort of their homes. Under this program, all the eligible women received financial assistance of ₹10,000. Through this program government already provides financial support to 75 lakh women across the state. The government provides total financial support to 75 lakh of ₹75,000 crore directly transferred into their bank accounts.

How to Check Bihar Mahila Rojgar Yojana Payment Status?

• Firstly, applicants need to visit the official portal of Mahila Rojgaar Yojana at mmry.brlps.in
• After that, applicants need to locate the option called “आवेदन की स्थिति / Payment Status” or Application Status
• Now, applicants need to enter their Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number in the given column.

• After that, applicants need to enter the captcha code and click on the “Check Status” Option
• Now the website will show whether the applicant’s application is approved, and if the applicant’s payment has been sent to their bank accounts.

Check Payment Status on PFMS Portal

• Firstly, applicants need to visit the Know Your Page of the PFMS portal.
• After that, applicants need to type their bank name, the bank account number given in the Mahila Rojgaar Yojana application andthe word verification code.

• Now applicants need to click on the Send OTP option and enter the OTP received on their mobile number, and click on the Submit option.
• After that payment status will be shown on the screen after correct OTP verification.

Mahila Rojgar Yojana Payment Not Received – What to Do?

• All the Applicants need to check the history of their transactions through mobile and banking
• If applicants have not received the payment, then they need to check their bank account number and IFSC code, and also check that their Aadhaar card is linked with their bank accounts or not
• Applicants need to complete their eKYC documentation involving Aadhaar-based eKYC and also activate their bank accounts
• All the applicants need to get their passbook updated to check if their payment was credited, but they missed the notification.

Financial Support Under the Mahila Rojgar Programme

As per the state government’s instructions, the Mahila Rojgar Programme was held in Patna on 29 November 2025, where ₹10,000 was transferred to the bank accounts of all eligible women. Over 10 lakh women have received this amount, and the state government has allocated a budget of around ₹1,000 crore for this initiative.

When will the 7th installment of the Mahila Rojgar Yojana be released?
