What is Jibon Prerana Scheme
The Honourable Chief Minister of Assam state, Mr Hemanta Biswa Sarma, has launched this remarkable youth empowerment initiative known as the Jibon Prerana Scheme, under which the Government aims to provide financial help and support to all the fresh graduates so that they can manage their expenses while pursuing higher education. Under this scheme, the Government will provide financial help of INR 2,500 monthly for a period of one year. The funds will be transferred directly into the students’ bank accounts by the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) process, and the government has allocated a total budget of INR 25 Crores for the implementation of this scheme.

The main objective behind this Jibon Prerana Scheme is to empower all the fresh graduate students by providing them with financial help and support.
