The Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana state, Mr Nayab Singh Saini, launched this impactful women’s empowerment initiative, known as Lado Lakshmi Yojana, on 25th September 2025, aiming to empower all females from poor households so that they can feel independent and become self-reliant. Under this scheme, the Government aims to provide financial help of INR 2,100 to all the females who come from economically disadvantaged families across Haryana. As per the reports by the Officials, the Government has allocated a budget of INR 5,000 crores for the implementation of this scheme. And till now, over 5.22 Lakh females have received the first instalment of this scheme.
