And now it has become a big issue, especially during harvest time when the supply is high, and the prices fall because of high supply. So, while keeping this in mind, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched MP Soybean Bhavantar Yojana. This scheme will help farmers when the market price of soybeans falls below the price decided by government. To know more about the same, keep reading this article.
What is MP Soybean Fasal Bhavantar Yojana (Bhavantar Yojana)?
The MP Soyabean Bhavantar Yojana is a scheme launched by the Madhya Pradesh government to help soybean farmers. Under this scheme, If farmers sell the soyabean produce by them at a price lower than the Minimum Support Price (MSP), then in this case the government will pay them the difference amount directly into their bank account. This scheme is also called a Price Difference Payment Scheme (Bhavantar Yojana). It will protect farmers from price fluctuation in market. If the market price goes below the MSP, then through this scheme, they won’t have to face the entire loss alone, the government will help them.
Objective of the MP Soybean Bhavantar Yojana
The main goal of the MP Soybean Bhavantar Yojana is to ensure fair income to soybean farmers. Many times, due to low demand or overproduction of crops, the price of crops like soybean drops in the market. In this situation small and marginal farmers face huge financial stress and loss too as their entire livelihood is dependent on farming. So this scheme aims to protect farmers from market losses also to make sure they get at least the Minimum Support Price. It will help in promoting the soybean cultivation in Madhya Pradesh also encourage the farmers to sell their produce through proper channels.
