Somewhere, skills and knowledge about a particular field is extremely important, but because of their financial condition, they are not able to do any skill development course, nor able to study for any competitive exam.
So, understanding this situation, the Government of Bihar started a scheme called the Mukhyamantri Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana. It aims to help youth by giving them a small amount monthly so that they don’t have to depend completely on their families and can use the money for preparing for competitive exams, learning skills etc.
What is Mukhyamantri Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana 2025?
Mukhyamantri Swayam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana, often called MSSBY, It is launched by bihar government for educated yet unemployed youth of the state. Under this scheme bihar government will provide Rs 1000 per month up to 2 years to eligible young people. This monthly allowance is for those youngsters who are no longer studying further and are not employed in any job. This scheme is for those people who are preparing for competitive exams, attending job interviews or working on any skill.

So basically, the main purpose of this scheme is to support the youth of Bihar during their job searching phase. Receiving this amount on monthly basis will reduce their financial stress, it will encourage self-dependence among educated youth. It will also give them chance to prepare for competitive exam without worrying about the expenses. Through this scheme the migration of youth will also reduce. It will help the youth in engaging something meaningful without losing hope.
