The main aim of this scheme is to remove the gap between the rich and poor by providing equal education opportunities to underprivileged children. The admission process is organised every year, and the entire process, from application to admission, is done online through the official RTE Tamil Nadu portal.

  • Fill in your child’s name, date of birth, gender, parent’s name, address, and other basic information.
  • Upload the necessary documents like birth certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, etc.
  • After that, you can select nearby private schools from the list and also ensure that the distance should be within 1 km to 3 km from your residence.
  • After filling in all details and uploading documents, review the form and submit it.
  • After submission, save or write down the application number for future reference.
