Veer Gatha 5.0 School Registration is a part of the initiative under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the bravery of our soldiers. It is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Education, Government of India. The main idea behind launching it is to encourage students across India to learn about the brave stories of Param Vir Chakra awardees and other award winners. It gives students a chance to show their respect to these brave heroes by creating something creative, like a poem, drawing, essay, paragraph, or video. What is Veer Gatha 5.0?
er Gatha 5.0 is the fifth edition of this nationwide school-level competition. The main aim behind this is to tell the stories of India’s brave soldiers through the voices of our youth. Every school can take part. Students can pick any one topic related to bravery and make a drawing, write a poem, or prepare an essay or video. Under this, the best entries will be uploaded online. Some lucky winners will even be invited to attend the Republic Day Parade in Delhi!

It will encourage patriotism and respect for the armed forces among youth. Also, through the same students will express their thoughts in a creative, unique way.
